Stalking has only recently been distinguished from a wide range of other socially inappropriate, intrusive and potentially distressing activities: it is described by literature as a behavior characterized by repeated intrusions involving unwanted contacts (such as following, approaches, surveillance) and unwanted communications (including telephone calls, e-mails, letters). In our Country this phenomenon is now a specific form of criminal offending and has established itself as a recognized social problem. The aim of this work is to describe and analyze the stalking phenomenon trough behaviors that characterized the stalking campaign, motivation and relationship victim/stalker, consequences on victims.
